Local Job right out of school?

I am thinking of going through a truck driving school in Dallas, TX. They are telling me that since I have a clean driving record, no criminal background, good work record, etc., they can almost certainly get me a local truck driving job right out of school with no previous experience.

Does this sound believable?

Just like the other comment said; They all will tell you anything just to get your money. It is hard for an experience driver to get a local driving job so just think about a rookie landing such job. it is what it is. get your cdl then get the miles and then get the local job but hey now days you never know; you can get lucky and get that local job :)

They'll tell you anything to get ya money tell them to put it in writing that they'll get you a local job right out of school they have no control over companies insurance providers that why compies want you to have experience cause of the insurance rates don't get me wrong you might get lucky and find a company to take you that's local but your best best is run with a big company for a few months then switch
