Lonely in GA

I met my boyfriend on a dating site online a little over 2 years ago.He trains drivers for the company he works for and is gone between 4-8 weeks at a time. When he gets home time it is for 4 days. When I met him he was paying child support on his son which was going to graduate from High school within a year.

We talked about him finding a trucking job with local runs after the child support was over. Its been almost a year since his son graduated and child support stopped. His son is in college now and when he gets home time he goes to watch his son play baseball for college so our time is cut in half. I love his son and am not jealous of their relationship but I miss him too. When I mention him looking for a local job with more home time he gets angry and tells me that he doesn't want to give up the money he's making. Do I stay with him and be lonely or leave him? I'm starting to think he will never come off the road training and I will always be alone.

Any ideas or suggestions?

This is his job lord knows mine does same thing with his daughter she's 2 yrs old. So I get it. Girl you've gotta keep your self occupied seriously or you'll drive him insane n yourself. When hes home go with him like I do when he goes visits his daughter. This way you still get time in with him. I'm sure he'll be glad you did. Get a hobby or job. Communicate with him true enough he'll ramble on bout his truck n loads blah blah blah
I Know more about a 18 wheeler than students do lol... if you need friend I'm here lol #lonewolfwifey

Sorry, with him gone 8 weeks and home for 4 days, 2 of which he spends with his son, there's not much hope he will change his ways, to spend more time with you. His son is most important, as you can see. Good luck, but don't expect much from him. Jimmy
