Looking for truck driver training near The Willamette Valley.

I am looking for training. I have received my permit while learning at C.R. England. Boy, did I learn a lot.

First, it was just rumors but, the longer I was there the more I could see that the training I would receive would be from inexperienced, 3 months training, drivers themselves.

I wasn't positive I would receive training anytime soon either. There were many other graduates along with myself. I couldn't take a chance on being trapped there, for lack of funds, so I made a decision to head home while I still had the means to do so.

I am looking for training close to home, The Willamette Valley.

I was not about to hang around and see if I would get a trainer. The number trainers, that I saw, did not equal the number of graduates. The trainers available, also did not appear to be someone I would be willing to spend any extended amount of time with. If my actions have prevented me from ever becoming a truck driver then, this is not the industry for me. If other companies know about this behavior and do nothing about it then I really want nothing to do with an industry that allows this behavior amongst its "comrades".

Salem Oregon Trucking Schools NEW

David, glad you made it through with a CDL. How do handle that, with charging for training without staying at the company if you don't mind me asking.

Looks like Swift and Gordon Trucking out of Salem are hiring. Swift does training, don't know if they do in that area.
