I have no idea. Does methadone have any effects side effects that would make you unable to operate a truck safely?

To find out for sure call a place that does the DOT physical. (Urgent Care, Prime Care, etc) They should be able to tell you if they would be able to issue a medical card while taking methadone.

The next question would be if a trucking company would hire you taking it. Call trucking companies and ask them if taking methadone would disqualify you from becoming a driver.
