I currently have 19 months experience driving both Dry Vans and Reefers. I have both my tanker and hazmat endorsements as well as some experience hauling hazmat loads.

I have worked as a company driver for both Covenant Transport and Texas Freight. During that time, I acquired 2 accidents and 2 moving violations on my record. My violation all happened back in 2015. My accidents happened last year. Because of my record, it is now hard to get a job with any trucking company.

I would like to give it a try driving for an Owner Operator, but have some questions, like do Owner Operators offer any sort of benefits and what sort of pay do O/Os offer? I am looking for a local position mainly that will allow me to be home daily.
