Well I have been married to my husband for 1 and half and he has been driving for almost 4 years all together . He has been driving for 2 years with this company.

We have been together for 2 years and we have 3 daughter and I have another daughter by a previous marriage who loves what her step dad does . I am still dealing with being alone Mon-Fri.

He is not a normal truck driver . He has a dedicated account and only gone Mon-Fri.I just try to stay as busy as possible but still don't help on the lonely feeling I get sometime.

Hon, if you want to stay married to this man, you have no choice but to accept your circumstances. After awhile, you will be able to bury your needs for intimacy and companionship,by training your mind not to think about what's missing in your life. When you can get to this place in your mind, it won't hurt so much. Loneliness hurts, and can cause you to go into a depression, and it robs you of your joy. I know, I went through it. I felt anger, resentment, even considered divorce, because I was so hungry for intimacy and companionship. I even had to work through the devastating discovery that my husband betrayed me with other women out on the road. Marriage vows are to be taken seriously, and I took mine seriously, obviously he didn't. I hang in there, because I made a commitment at the alter. All these things have changed me. I very seldom feel lonely anymore, because physical intimacy and companionship no longer is a priority of mine. It will turn you that way. You will either divorce, and be like me.
