Month 4 as a Lease Operator - Western Express

If anyone told me I would lease a truck I would have thought they were crazy. id owned 4 trucks previously as a small fleet owner I knew the risks and the rewards and thought anyone that leased a truck was being ripped off! I was wrong..... at least in part!

I found out quickly that the company you sign with is more important than the truck your buying. It either fits or it doesn't and that's the God honest truth. I was always told give it a year... sometimes I knew within a week or two. I came to Western a couple months ago and optimistically positive of my career choice. It may not be for everyone but it was at least for me.

1. what are you going to do today?
2. what do you want to accomplish by the end of the week
3. what do you want by the end of the month?
4. where do you want to be one year from now?
5. Where do you want to be 5 years from now?

I highly believe in setting goals and accomplishing them. I run my truck and my life like a business and expect more from myself than others expect from me.

I'll stay posted as my journey continues. Hope this helps you if your thinking about leasing. Just remember if it sounds wrong it probably is and if it sounds too good to be true, its probably a recruiter!
