my husband co driver is a woman I need advice

My husband and I are a young couple I'm 24 and he's 23. He's been a driver for about 3 years. He's had a lot of trouble finding and keeping a partner and recently his old partner had his license suspended and my husband got teamed up with an older woman driver. He's otr Monday through Friday and home weekends it's not too bad.

Nevertheless this new arrangement makes me feel really uneasy due to how infamous truckers are and given the fact my husband doesn't have a good track record. First day with this woman an he's already telling me how bad he feels for her because how rough she's had it with other co drivers and when I ask him if she's married has kids or her age he says he doesn't know he didn't ask isn't that the beginning of every conversation?

At first I thought it be silly to be jealous of this older woman and I myself am attractive but at the end of the day does that really matter? I mean men don't care for Beaty or youth but see.

Am I being insecure or do my doubts have foundation?

Thank you For your responses I "picked" him under a different impression people change when they get tired of pretending to be someone they're not I talked to him but hea never been willing to make any sacrifices or compromise we' getting a divorce not just because of this funny thing is everyone always says a high percentage of truck drivers end up divorcing I thought we'd beat the odds but I'm sure it'll be for the best what's mentioned to stay together does and what's destined to fall apart does as well I guess given our history this profession was the last of it I hope any other wives beat the odds and any potential girlfriends be aware.

You are only human NEW

Hi, I'm a Otr driver for 10yrs and local for 6yrs. I've live it, witness it and herd about it from drivers this road can make or break up a happy home I personally don't think it's a good idea, 1. You all are both young 2. 5 days on the road is tuff and to spend that type of time with a women other than your wife is unthinkable if he loves you and value your thoughts, 3. He has a bad track record this here is enough for him to realize that this is not a good idea, talk to him and be firm and ask to meet her even, and last say let's slip seat drivers how bout if I go out on the road for 5 days with a man old or young doesn't mattar and see his response. Remember and tell him to....we are one unit and let nothing such as this come between us. You all take care of one another life is to short to waste valueable time.
