New at this whole trucker lifestyle thing - (from the wife's eyes)

Well I haven't seen my Husband for two weeks. Will be 3 weeks on Monday. We have talked and exchanged pictures of him, me and our 2 kids. I work 40 hours a week and have kids 7 and 3.

Its been hard this second week. I cried when I asked when he was going to be able to come home. He said he doesn't know yet. He still isn't sure when. Maybe next week since truckers are only allowed to drive a certain number hours a week.

I cried because I had to do everything around the house. It was still stressful with him home every night but what he did at home helped me keep me sane.

My kids really don't understand whats going on but does understand that their dad is working and love them. Its hard. Only time will tell how I deal with it. Not holding him at night is ruff, but I have to be strong for him.

Hopefully I can cut back on my working hours so there is enough time in the day to do things that I have to at the house.
