Over the Road

Has anyone ever worked for NFI Industries over the road?
My husband is looking at their orientation process. It is not a paid orientation.
He is suposed to be over the road 2 weeks and then home 2 days.
He is used to local/regional work, so I hope this is a good company to work for.
thanks!

NFI National Freight Inc

Hey LaLa, National Freight is a very old established dry freight operation out of Vineland, N.J. with a yard in Waxahatchie,Tx and another in Corona, Ca and who knows where else.

I cannot tell you anything else about them, good or bad. The unpaid orientation is no big deal. Should only be 2 days. The ones that do have paid orientation don't really pay that much. As long as he gets rolling, that's what counts. Try to verify if he will roll out for sure after orientation.

I'm hearing many companies are sending drivers home to wait for a truck to become available or for business to pick up. Of course, they don't tell you that until you sign on and go thru class. Good luck. Jimmy
