Question about truck driving school

Hey I went to a truck driving school and got my CDL permit. I went through their orientation and after orientation I was told they could not hire me because they could not verify my previous employment.

Before I went to this school they told me that they checked everything out and I was good. Can I go to another school or will this school try to sue me. I was told that I could not use any of the info from this school.

They can't sue you if they messed up and you can use what ever info that you learned from them but most schools have there own material . I went to two different schools and use the thing I learned from the first one to finish the second one faster
