question about using the pre-pass for the weigh stations

If you have a pre-pass and get to a scale and you get the green light to pass the scale but the sign on the side of the road says that trucks need to enter the scale should you go into the scale or can you bypass because you got the green light.

I'll get green light on the prepass but the signs will say all trucks must enter, I've been going in lately I would rather waste 5 minutes then get a ticket, some of the new chicken coops even have photo radar.

Approached a scale, saw sign for the scale said closed.... prepass gave me the red light....looking ahead i can see the scale open and a sign saying open...
so i went in, drove over the scale, and back onto hwy ...(was empty and no big deal anyways, i figure it was better than risking a ticket)

but if your truck/trailer has placards you must enter scale even if pre pass gives you green light.

If You get a green light you do not have to go into the scale house. If they want you to come in you will get a red light.

scales will have signs that says open, all trucks must enter ---
but if you have a prepass,,and get a green light then you obey the prepass green light and you do not go in-
usually you see a sign that says something like prepass follow in cab instructions which means if you get a green light then you can sail by the weigh station and laugh at the trucks that dont have prepass
