I've been in trucking for 12.5 years, have a safe driving record with no points as well. Owned my own truck and reefer trailer for 8 years and gave it up in 2008.
Been a company driver ever since. Now all the local companies are going paperless logs and can not seem to get the miles I need.
Entertaining the idea of driving for someone 3 out of 4 weeks who still wants to drive that 1 week a month.
Or drive full time for an O/O who has a good truck to put me in with east/ west miles.
I'm 50 and in good health. Also have a very stable marriage of 23 years w/ no kids. Live in a single family house with no mortgage problems.
