Respect For the Truck Driver

(Troy NY)

I drove all different types of trucks for a forty-five year career. My family had to live without me on holidays and my being away for weeks at a time.

ha
In all those years I ve watched states close service areas, replace restaurants at many service areas with fast food and when the pandemic struck close vital services such as restrooms forcing drivers to use bags and bottles as restroom facilities.

Still my road brothers and sisters drove on to supply an ungrateful America because it was our job! How many people would devote their life to supplying people who treated us as subhuman and still got the load to it's final destination.

Hold your heads high and proud because you are vital to this country. We are America's lifeline and we are all American heroes! God Bless the American Trucker!
