Retired Navy. San Diego Ca New CDL ready for trucking

(San Diego, CA)

I recently acquired my CDL's and am having a tough go at finding employment. I have a felony stemming from being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Two buddies asked me to drop them off at a resident. They went in and came back out. 5 min later, I'm being pulled over by the cops.

My buddies (now ex-buddies) went in and rob this guy for weed. Ironically, the guy called the cops. Imagine that, a drug dealer calling the police. Anyway, I didn't do any jail time, but to stay out of jail, I took a charge of "guilty after the fact". Now I wish I had fought this.

Its been three years now and having a felony is like being in prison. No one wants to take a chance.

I retired after 20 years in the Navy. 3 months later I'm stuck dealing with this. Not what I imagined for me after serving.

If there is someone willing to give a chance, I'm ready to get to work.
