Route preferences when traveling between N. Louisiana and LA.

Any safety or weather or other reasons to consider taking I40 over I10? Only makes about an hours worth of difference.

While the fuel is normally cheaper taking I40, you do also have to remember once you hit az in the winter, flagstaff can get pretty icy......
