Scammed by Expediting Trucking Services (Atlanta Ga)

I need some advice please. I started driving for Jeaune Yarde the owner of Expediting Trucking Services in Atlanta Ga.

At the beginning this guy seemed very honest and genuine to me. As time went on I noticed I stop receiving pay reports every Wednesday as promised by Mr.Yarde,when I requested that I see my pay reports he began giving me numerous excuses,and started not paying me on time or not in full.

I eventually became fed up,demanded my money and quit. Mr.Yarde expressed to me that his father was hospitalized and payroll wasn't important at that time. Wrong answer!

I have been promised my pay would be in my hands " the next day". Still haven't gotten it and he is now not answering my calls. Upon instinct I googled his name.... Scam scam scam

I'm not the first person he's done this to. Also I forgot to mention,the first truck I drove for him had no registration or insurance,the Koch trailer I was pulling was allegedly put out of service.

I have text from him saying when he'd pay me,which that time has passed. His wife stated to me that all bank accounts are in her name and he is in bankruptcy.

How do I go about getting my money?

Henry County Jail NEW

This guy is in Henry county jail now. If you want to serve him court papers,you can probally have them served to him while he is in jail since no one has a correct address for him. That's what I'm thinking about doing.

I just sent you an email. There are those of us on here that are customers, and those who are drivers, and we are all victims of the same person. We should all be working together, and ensure that he goes to jail for a long time.

what can we do? NEW
by: Anonymous

I found out who his parole officer is. You have to file a police report for him to even take you seriously, but once you have, it is a violation of his parole. Respond when you file a police report and I will post the info.

Stolen NEW

This guy stole trailers from us by picking them up, and then dropping them in Atlanta and forging paperwork to show that they delivered all over the country. Can you help us find those missing trialers? Email me at bruceclem1@gmail.com.

This last one will save you some headache!! NEW
by: Helonwheels

If you fill drained from just reading all this information I have offered, then you will more than likely have more headaches to tend to. All the remedies I have explained take up a whole lot of your time!! And become extremely aggravating they are a pain in the behind and you should really have an attorney to help you! Can you really afford an attorney is the question especially one you will have to pay as this issue is dragged out through the court system?

With that said my very best suggestion and one that you can do yourself and take the weight off your shoulders and will not cost you any excess pain or money is to just write it off on your taxes it is basically the same as if it were in your pocket when you pay less taxes out of pocket, truly this is the best one for everyone's sanity to stay in tact!!

I wish you the best in your efforts to obtain what is already rightfully yours!!!!!!!!

Here is another solution NEW
by: Helonwheels

Back Pay

A common remedy for wage violations is an order that the employer make up the difference between what the employee was paid and the amount he or she should have been paid. The amount of this sum is often referred to as "back pay." Among other Department of Labor programs, back wages may be ordered in cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) on the various federal contract labor statutes.

In your state call the department of labor here is their website so they may direct you correctly:

I will be back with more info!

There's Always a Process!! Damn!! NEW
by: Helonwheels

IF EVERYTHING IS IN HIS WIFE'S NAME GO AFTER HER!! IN MOST STATES ANY FINANCIALOBLIGATIONS OR DEBTS PASS TO THE SPOUSE IF SHE HAS A JOB SUE HER!!

IF THEY ARE "REALLY" IN BANKRUPTCY HERE IS WHAT WILL TAKE PLACE: YOU ARE CONSIDERED A DEBTOR!

How will I know if someone who owes me money filed for bankruptcy?

About 15 days after the debtor files for bankruptcy, you should receive a notice from the court about the bankruptcy case. The notice:

Tells you that the debtor filed for bankruptcy;
Gives you the date of a Meeting of Creditors that you can attend;
Gives you a deadline for telling the court about the money you’re owed by filing a Proof of Claim, if this applies to you; and
Gives you deadlines for filing certain objections about the bankruptcy case. If you think you want to file one of these objections, you should speak with an attorney.

I will explain other solutions later.
