Served 12 yrs for a felony and have changed my life.

Charged and convicted of Attempt murder with a deadly weapon in 2003. Served 12 years and have since been trying to re-establish my life.

I've made mistakes in the past and I'm trying to correct my wrongs.

I would love to earn my CDL license and start a career as an trucker driver, its always been a dream of mine.

I've filled out numerous application just to get turned down due to my felony.

At times its discouraging but I know God will make a way. Like he has done time and time again.

The state will pay for cdl school or you can finance it at Southwest Truck Driver Training and the first payment isn't due until 45 days after employment.
Carolina Cargo www.carolinacargo.com will hire you after graduation. This company advertises for felons.

It gets old; try to help many drivers on here and none ever acknowledge it and answer back.

Do you have a cdl?
Have you completed cdl school?
Several companies will hire you if you've completed cdl school:
Roadtex Transportation
Western Express
Carolina Cargo
local cement companies probably hire you since they're building the new Interstate 11 to Phoenix.

Michael I think you have a chance with that being so long ago. I think what will matter most is what you've been doing since out.

Volunteer to speak with youth or others in the system if you're up for it in spare time. Dont knw the circumstances but if any way you might be able to share the lessons with groups in your community it would be good for you and them.
