Only the DMV can suspend your license. Even a bad traffic record and numerous court appearances, it's the DMV that suspends it, not the courts. Jimmy

Can't suspend because of lease.

A company can't suspend your driver's license/CDL for non payment of a lease. They might suspend you as a worker/driver from the company but not your license.

The only people that can suspend your driver's license/CDL is motor vehicles (DMV) and a judge. And the judge only makes a recommendation to DMV. Non payment of a lease is not a DMV issue.

Non payment of a lease is a financial (think credit) and contractual issue between the lessor and the lessee. Hope this helps.

never heard such a thing a cdl is govt issued but a licence plate paid for by the company can be pulled at any moment.

Only DMV can suspend...

That sounds ridiculous! No one can suspend your driver's license/CDL but motor vehicles (DMV). And even DMV wouldn't suspend your license/CDL for nonpayment on a lease.
