Swift Driving Academy?

I'm wanting to go to Swift to get my trucking career started. My big concern is the things I've read about people that get down to the academy and are sent home when the people who make the decisions find stuff out about you they don't like.

I have a public intoxication in 2007 and underage possession of alcohol in 2009 on my record. Will this keep me from getting in?

I've hear a ton of bad stuff about SWIFT and all those large truck driving companies. Honestly I don't know why you would want to get into this carreer anyway.
If you want to have a family(ie-wife and kids) don't do it. Sounds like you are pretty young based on the dates in your post.
My fiance decided to go into truck driving after we'd been together for 12 year and I'm ready to end it.
I'm sick of being by myself all the time, having to take care of EVERYTHING myself and him complaining about how unhappy he is. Maybe he did this to avoid us and that very well mught be the case.
At any rate...you're young...find another career...SERIOUSLY!
