Swift

If your convicted of a felony not the best company to go for. I attended there school and busted my butt to get my cdl and they changed their mind on hiring me with my felony so now I owe them 4400 dollars for the schooling. So be careful going with them.

Got turned down by swift

I tried to get on with Swift, did the application, filled out a felony conviction form, waited 3 weeks while they did their background check. While I waited, I would leave voice messages for my recruiter and he would never call me back.

I finally got an answer and I was denied. I wasn't given any reason just NO!! AND to try again in 6 months. Whats the difference between now and 6 months? Whats that got to do with it? But after reading some of the other post and those getting stuck with a 4400.00 tuition bill.

I'm glad it didn't go through. I hope those of you have found a different way to reach your goal. Don't give up, keep on trucking!!

Swift fired me for a 18 yr old felony

Went through Swift School in UT, was hired, passed background check with Central, but Swift fired me just a couple months out driving for a 18 year old felony.

They then bill me for 5,000 for school. They should have told me from the start and not wasted my time, or try to take my money without giving me a job. All loads on time, no tickets, and was fine with Central dispatch.

Sad and Humiliated

Resently finished cdl school through SWIFT IN CORSICANA, TEXAS my recruiter name is JOEY FOWLER after graduating from 3 stressful weeks, i came to find out that the company SWIFT wasnt going to hire me because of my credit score? and that im a felon...this was not discussed previously prior to enrollment nor during or after graduation.

i believe this should of have been stressed to the students because not only am i out of a job im out of 4400 dollars that i dont have, and the worst part is i have a family to provide for and we might be homeless soon because i cant get employment and were behind on rent and bills..if anyone knows a company hiring felons please contact me at ebrahim.harrison@yahoo.com.

yes, also my current boss called swift and they didnt really tell him anything other than the 3 incidents i had but no details.. but offered to sell the info to him... he declined.. but my boss told another prospective employer my two incidents in canada.. detailed.. question can he do that???

So talk to labor board and get info on what trucking companies r allowed to say to prospective employers... if i have to stay with this company . then i have 2 yrs left before i can think about another trucking company.. but canada is looking.. in oilfields.. thats where i wanted to go..

this otr is not for me n my family.. sooo delema time for me...

They don't pay

THERE IN COURT NOW FOR A FEW THINGS THAT THEY DID AGAINS DRIVER'S ONE NOT PAYING THE RIGHT MONEY FOR MILES, TWO NOT PROPER SCHOOLING.
