Three DUIs Prior to 1989

First of all I have been sober since 1989, I have three dui's all prior to 1989 Will employers check that far back on pre-employment screenings.

I was wondering the same thing. How far back do companies go back ? I know of several drivers who have had mutiple DUI's from way back that are driving today. It is possible to turn your life around and be a productive professional driver. I realize the penality is much more severe nowadays, as it should be.Can someone who really knows what the options for the person who posted the question are ? I've heard 3-5-7- years. I don't think the DUI's ever fall off of your record, but if you can show you have been rehabed and not a risk, especially after 25 years, i would think that should count for something.

As an individual who has lost family members and very close friends to Drunk drivers, I cannot help but say that I find it hard to believe that you would even ask this; much less even Want yo get behind the wheel of something so dangerous as a Semi with not 1, or even 2 DUI's. But Three (3) Driving Under the Influence.
I'm all about giving people Second chances but you have had Three! Sir, I'm letting you know that I will personally see to it that you are flagged to the forefront of Every DMV in your state in the hope that you NEVER get behind the wheel of a Semi!
