Ticketed for "No Trucks" Street

by Bill D
(Rolla, MO)

Received a ticket for driving my CMV on a street in California where I did not see a sign that said "NO TRUCKS".

Do I have to report this on the Annual Review of Driving Record, to my employer, even though the "ticket" will not show up on my DMV report and I personally paid the fine/court costs?

Should Report it Immediately

Its better to report it. If its so minor that it won't show up on DMV report, seem the employer might not care so much on first offense.

Some of those signs are posted AFTER you turn on a street.

Get you a truck GPS to help with truck routing though.
