tire of retirement from tucking

I've been an o/o since 1995 I've driven for several companies till 2007 then i sold my truck. but now im ready to go back into business but they are asking for recent experience but i don't have any.

i have run 48 state and southeast flatbed ,reefers,dry and over sized loads ..and have worked for companies like landstar, jb hunt ,newline transport but now im ready to purchase a truck but don't have immediate experience what can i do
