i drove truck for 13 years when i went into the hospital with pain in my arm and 3 days later i had a double bypass, after surgery while i was home recouping a friend ask me to cash a check and the check happened to be forged which i did not know , i never expected a 50.00 check to be forged but i was stupid and should have checked it out, i got a visit from rhe police and thats how i received a felony , i told them who gave me the check but my lawyer stated the law is if you produce your id or deposit a check that was forged that even if you didnt know you are guilty of felony forgery, i was told it was because i could not prove who actually signed the check, now i accept this and take a deal so i did no time just probation cause they believed i did not forge it , now with a double bypass which everything is fine now great numbers from the doctor and a 5 year old felony i can not get a job, the last company i worked for after the surgery was jb hunt and my surgery did not matter but as soon as i was convicted of a felony i can no longer work for jb hunt, all i want is to get back to what i love driving. any suggestions
