trucker gets arrested and fired things are still in truck

OK so a trucker got arrested for drugs in another state. He got fired but still has personal things in the truck that is now being driven by someone else what can this guy driving the truck do with it if the company don't want to take it.

I suppose he can send take it back to the company to hold or send it to his family COD.

Ask the company about it. Seems they should have some type of protocol for dealing with this type of issue.
