Truckers Chat on Lifeasatrucker website

There should be a link to the chat area of this website in a more conspicuous place. I never even knew it existed until I browsed around and found it in a question at the bottom of one of the pages. I would not mind chatting here. BTW. Which IRC network does it use so that I may use an IRC program instead of the website itself?
