Owner Operator Trucking Jobs

If you're an owner operator and looking for someone to lease on to, you might want to consider Morrow Carriers.  I've been over there for a couple of years and find it refreshing.

Mr. Morrow is an ex driver and other than his truck only runs owner operators.  Very small operation with only 3 drivers leased on but interested in growing with the right owner operators.

These are my words not his....

No headache inducing, bad attitude drivers needed.  We have a great reputation and that's how it needs to stay.  You can run as little or an much (legally) you want to!

However, be advised that the rates are common to what you will find on the load board.  As of right now we don't have direct contracts.

So this is not where you will find top of the line pay.  Rates are terrible right now.  But if you want freedom and stress free running with a Greensboro NC home base call Douglass Morrow 336 337 8665.

Tell him Hervy sent you.

North Carolina is in a great location. Major interstates I-40 and I-85 separates in Greensboro.  Major truck traffic travel North and South and West from North Carolina.  Because of Furniture and many other industries there are also a lot of dedicated runs, regional and local trucking jobs as well.

Greensboro Highway

This means means there are many local trucking companies and nationwide trucking companies with local terminals in and around Greensboro and surrounding areas.

For those who don't know, I - 40 goes all of the way to California. I - 95 goes up and down the East Coast from Florida to Maine. I-85 goes from Richmond Va thru Atlanta and to Ending in Alabama.  These are important corridors for moving freight to other parts of the country.

If you are new and don't yet have your CDL, what you will need to do is decide if you want to pay for your own CDL training or let a trucking company pay for your CDL training. Which should you do?

Well that depends on your situation.  One of your best options here in Greensboro is to check out GTCC truck driver training program

It will run you about $1250 dollars.  They have scholarships available for this program!

Another great  choice is  Davidson Community College truck driver training which is just south of High Point NC.

The training will cost about $1700 for getting your CDL in the state and it is next door to Greensboro.
