Wayne Sell Trucking, Cabot Pa

On a scale from 1-10 I would give them a 4 at very best
What I like about them
~They tended to keep me moving, however, moderate hauls, and low pay
~The equipment was older, but I did like the spacious cabs.
~ A place to start to get road time, and still be regional and close to home
What I don't like
~The dispatch was actually built to be a "subdivision" of the company. Although the driver was to be paid 24% of the load, the 24% was after companies pay, as well as that of their dispatch company.
~The pay was horrible. A lot of the loads where to what I call "a hole in the wall" with little space to maneuver such a big vehicle.
~ When requesting to see the actual pay from the load, drivers are told that they do not have the right to see such documents, and refused.
~They did things such as refuse you your "down time" even when plainly it was needed. Take a ticket written to the company out of the employee's check, slow times on repairs needed--sometimes none at all! Which by the way is why I got the ticket- brakes way out of align, even though the truck had been serviced 2 days before. When the DOT looked at it, they specifically wrote the ticket to Wayne Sell Corp- they in turn took it out of my pay!!
~ No reimbursement for Shower's, truck washes, and many times refusal to allow you to use certain toll roads-due to their refusal to reimburse for toll roads
Essentially--the only GOOD thing to say about this company was that it was a place to get in my first 6 months. After that time, I moved on to a company that cared much more about their Employee's. That will be my next blog.
