As they previous posting said you already know the pit falls of you owning or leasing your truck. Take all your current probs or situation and times that by 2. You now have a another person to take care of,finding loads,taking care of another truck or trl. The driver himself,with csa and all that. How do you handle the taxes. Do you know what is in a driver qualification file? Do you have random drug screening in place for you and the new hire. Do you have a dvir file for both. along with 6 months of logs. Well, if you already own one truck, you know the in's and outs. Paying a driver $$$$ could present a problem, if any tax authority found out. Jimmy
