If you have the wrong color IFTA sticker of course that means you have the wrong year. The color makes it easy for DOT to see.

Good thing is you have 2 month grace period to display the new IFTA.

However the new IFTA must be filed for before the end of the prior year.

I don't know that they will do if you have the wrong color. Probably fine you for expired IFTA after the 60 days.
