some things i have experienced
by: Anonymous

situations I have experienced,
nails in tires-to blown out trailer and tractor tires
windshield wiper breaks and have to use the hook from the end of a bungee cord to put through the blade to attach it to the wiper arm
sure, dash board check engine lights, usually from the over sensitive coolant warning so I just make a habit of filling the coolant as full as i can get it
can't find a place to stop and your running out or are out of hours...have to find a walmart or truck stop pronto

Trucking headaches....
by: Jimmy

Hi and welcome to the site. Anything mechanical can and does break, right? So, normally we call for help, as in roadside assistance. Trying to repair a big truck on the side of the road is a hassle. We don't carry parts, normally just basic tools, and many of us aren't mechanics either. We get warning lights/buzzers from the dashboard.

Stopping to help another driver is useless most of the time. He is waiting for help and we cannot really do anything except hold his hand. We have freight to deliver and trucks sitting on the side are a hazard for traffic. Jimmy
