What would get you excited about Caterpillar coming out with a rig?

I wanted to hear from Truckers what they thought about Caterpillar and Navistar coming out with a long haul rig?

Not what it seems.

It's a joint venture, Navistar makes the truck, Cat makes the engine, for overseas sales, not here in the U.S. You are aware CAT had ceased manufacturing engines for U.S. sales. And Navistar is manufacturing class 8 engines now, called the Maxxforce. They have manufactured smaller diesel engines for years. They make the Ford pick-up truck diesel engine. Jimmy

Well since there is new targets for emissions coming again in a few years, it would be interesting to see what they would come out with.

Looks like it will be rolling out in Australia first
