I now know what a wild driver is! NEW

I asked my buddies at the dock. A wild driver is kind of like a floater. I'll have my regular route, but if there ls a load a driver refuses or doesn't make it to delivery, ill be the one to haul to location. Yeah at first I was a little doubtful due to the name. Sigh of relief.

If you have a wife and kids and driving is your income, I highly DON'T recommend you drive that way. Too many CSA points and you lose your license, try explaining that one to the wife lol, not to mention can you live with yourself if you fall asleep behind the wheel and kill a family or even just another person? Wild Drivers aka Super Truckers are becoming extinct for a reason. And drivers like that give professional drivers a bad name on the road, while the laws are getting tougher and tougher to go into the profession and make a living. Please don't to that to yourself, your family and other driver's. Thanks for reading this. Wife of a professional Truck Driver..

Its an outlaw trucker. The only real way to make a decent living.

Most guys don't have what it takes.

It involves extreme hustle and very little sleep.

Burning the candle at both ends. I did it for a show truck. Its only fun for a short time.

Your body needs at least 6-7 hours of sleep a night. Your internal clock will be messesd up for life..regardless.

Try it...I guess. Just keep your priorities straight and know your limitaions
