where can i get some drive time at?

I have driven class A-TX from 1985 to 2008- cross country. I also have a year in ice road driving, anyhow in 2008 i was in the process of getting divorced and had a daughter i needed to raise so i took a local job as a major appliance installer.

Well my little girl is all grown up and has a new family and i was ready to get back out there and i am being told that without any recent drive time im out of luck, "whats up with this"?

If you have any info on this it sure would be nice. thank you.
