I have two dump trucks I run in N.C. only I ord ered fuel decals on December 1st. 2014 for the year of 2015 did not receive them. Got checked by N.C motor carrier officer on march 31st. got a ticket for not having them $100.00. Told him I ordered them and had not received them. But it is not unusual they do a half ass job at this. I don't even know what the freaking purpose for them except if you don't have them you get a $100.00 fine. Can any tell me the purpose for decals. They don't cost anything and you don turn fuel reports And they cost the state money.

Got pulled today in our farm grain truck for no fuel sticker. Never heard of such a thing and got a ticket not even a warning !

How are you to know this is necessary and who should tell you this?
