Which company to work for? May, Stevens, or Eagle.

My dad has just gotten his cdl and is now deciding which company to work for. He is looking at May, Stevens or Eagle. He doesnt have a computer so i told him i would do some research for him.

I have found many bad complaints and experiances from people working for Stevens, have read many good things about May, but not much about Eagle. Does anyone have any pros or cons of these companies? Or know of anything better?

He wants to drive all 48 states, ( I live in Arizona and my brother in New Mexico) I want to make sure he has benifits, 401k, good pay, and work for a company with ethics and moral.

He also will eventually have his wife riding with him and a small pet.

Any advice at all would be great!!

I have been denied employment after three years of not driving truck with one accident and this other companies who hasn't posted to my dac nor my mvr seems to keep popping up I have had no tickets or accident since feburary of 2009 why am I having such a big problem getting a trucking job and would it help if I went and leased a truck? bottom line how can I get back on the road driving again

@ American xpress requires at least 3 months OTR other wise I'd be joining them after I get my CDL

I'd say May. The only benefits he may get is health insurance, for a fee. Eagle is a small fleet leased to Werner, out of Omaha. A lot of companies are doing away with pet policies, FYI. Jimmy

Where does your father live if in Arizona i have some contacts,in that area.

With little to no experience its hard to find a really good company.May is a nice choice try cannon,artic express,Werner,tmc,maverick.just to name a few.
