I would like to know if any companies would hire a 20 year old with a cdl?

Response: You have to be 21 to drive over the road. It may be possible to find a job driving within your state. A resume and cover letter may help get you noticed more easily.
If there is no luck getting a regular trucking job, try driving for furniture delivery or rental store delivery driver until you are 21.
also you might want to try for a job as driver helper with a moving company. Easy to get hired as a driver then after 21. Some moving companies also have a freight division.
