will driving without insurance keep me from getting a trucking job

Hello my name is Terry,

A couple of months ago, I was caught driving without insurance on my minivan on a Saturday.

I live in Windsor Ontario and have been looking for work for many months without success and I am quite poor and have not been able to afford many things including insurance in awhile.

I have been looking for work in every field you can imagine including driving a big truck(I have a valid B-DZ license)

My question is: Will this affect my chances of securing work driving a big truck? If there is anyone out there with knowledge of Canadian law who can help me, it would sure be appreciated.
