Will some trucking companies or drivers allow a non employees ride along with them for a small fee? For example if someone was moving and they only had about 5 to 10 boxes that they could put in the trailer.

Some trucking companies will allow non employees to ride along.

Each trucking companies will have their own policy pertaining to whether or not a trucker can take someone with them.

And what the restrictions or requirements are for taking someone with them.
