Truck Stop Shower

Most trucks stops have showers that costs between 7 and $14 to use.  If you buy 50 gallons of fuel or more at that truck stop, the showers are free.

They are usually individual enclosed rooms with a lockable door. 

If you're not a trucker, just say you want to buy a shower. If you're a trucker and you have a reward card, you can use a shower credit on your card from a prior recent fuel purchases to get a free shower.  Or you could use points to pay for a shower.

If you don't have points just pay for a shower.

Instead of paying some drivers ask other drivers if he/she has an extra shower ticket or credits that are about to expire that he/she can use.  Most drivers are generous when they have a plethora of credits.

For large chain truck stops like Pilot, Flying J, Petro, T/A, Loves for example, you can get fuel at one location and get a shower at a different location of that same truck stop chains. You will need to keep the fuel receipt or better yet sign up for the rewards card so that you can get the additional benefits.

You don't have to buy fuel at that location in order to get a shower. If you don't get fuel or enough the shower usually ranges from $7 to $14. At most truck stops for the shower you will get...

Towel Wash Cloth Soap There will be a toilet with tissue There will be an individual shower Every now and then the towels will be low quality or worn out.  Have a back up from home in your truck.

I usually bring in my own soap but use their towels. To each his/her own.

You do want to bring to the shower: 

• Soap
  
• Flip flops
• Alcohol wipes
• Shaving Kit
• Shampoo
• etc.
